We’ll let you in on 6 of our sales-multiplying strategies…
“Increase Your Sales”…
…it can almost seem like a myth, or sound like an empty promise.
I can tell you right now that it isn’t, and anyone can do it with the right strategies.
In this post, we go over 6 strategies that are so helpful, they will work wonders for any type of business, no matter how small!
We’ve seen it happen, and it’s beautiful.
Our partner Digital Marketer also swears by them. They’ve been broken into 3 important parts…
- Get More Customers
- Get Them to Spend More
- Increaser Buyer Frequency
These are NOT stages, but an ongoing cycle you’ll be following.
Get More Customers By…
Organic Facebook Marketing
You can’t increase your sales quickly without a great following on social media, specifically Facebook.
Of course, Twitter and YouTube are great options, but you can count on most of your target audience frequenting Facebook the most.
Keep your customer acquisition efforts focused on Facebook, for now.
You’ll need a good strategy for attracting new potential customers by posting things they are interested in, and remember:
Not every social media post should be an out-right sales post!
In fact, you should have about an 80/20 or 75/25 ratio = social engagement posts/sales posts.
Paid Facebook Marketing
With a good organic strategy down, you’ll see people liking, commenting on and sharing your post, as well as an influx of new followers.
Did you think that the organic marketing part would be fruitless?
Far from it!
Now you know your audience well enough to use a retargeting pixel, which Facebook provides for free.
It’s just a snippet of code that you put into a web page, and it does these amazing things:
- Laser-focus the ad campaign to show up for a specific audience that you specify when you set up the ad.
- Re-target those who took a specific action, but not another.
- Allow you to track the clicks on your ad.
The ability to target and retarget will save you soooo much money on advertising, especially if you did the organic marketing first to find out as much about your followers as you could.
Note: Re-targeting is part of the “Increase Buyer Frequency” part of the cycle.
Write a Blog
Writing a blog on your business’s website is an incredibly useful thing to do to increase your sales.
If you write what your specific audience wants to read, you’ll attract more visitors organically, AND create content that you can drive ads to on Facebook.
Many people are more likely to read something that will directly benefit them for free.
To get them to visit a sales page, link it in the (relevant!) blog post.
There’s quite a lot more to say about blogging, but we will cover those points in the future, so stay tuned!

Get Them to Spend More By…
Offering Immediate Upsells
As soon as your customer makes a purchase, he or she should be immediately offered a way to improve what they already have or build upon it.
This upsell should add value to what they purchased.
It should be totally worth spending a little more to get, and make their previous purchase feel complete.
Here’s a great example:
It’s like when you buy a drink at Starbucks, and you’re immediately asked if you’d like a scone.
Creating Members Only Exclusive Stuff
This is especially helpful if you’re offering information products, and can educate your customers on a certain subject.
Create an on-going course, or set of content for paid members only.
This can also be a set of email newsletters, as well as special free shipping on physical products if they pay a set amount each year.
Example 1: Digital Marketer Lab
Example 2: Amazon Prime
Offering Products in Bundles
Value bundles and kits, AKA value buckets are another way to increase your sales, or easily quadruple your sales.
It can also be tied in with almost any business model.
You’ve probably purchased something in a “Value Pack” and got a way better deal for spending more, instead of buying those things separately.
Would you buy 2 packs of 10 rolls of toilet paper for $16, or 20 rolls for $14?
You get the idea.
Give more value for a little less with a bundle of products that go together.
Increase Buying Frequency By…
Automated Email Campaigns
Certain types of campaigns can be set up in an email automation program, and triggered or tagged to be sent out at certain times.
These email campaigns should have a certain purpose, such as…
- Giving a new subscriber a warm welcome.
- Enticing someone to buy an upsell.
- Segmenting your list to focus on specific needs.
- And a lot more important purposes.
Loyalty Program
This is a very important strategy for keeping customers around.
Example: When you get a punch card and get a free coffee when all the circles are punched.
This is a very versatile strategy, so you can form it to fit your business model in any way that would work to keep your customers happy.
Direct Mail Marketing to Existing Customers
This is a way to increase your sales through email marketing, which is different from automated email campaigns in the way that you’re writing a special email and sending it out once.
Example:
An email containing a special offer exclusively for customers who have been around a while.
